UF Faculty Enhancement Opportunity

Our college has a long history of successful applications for the FEO program through the Provost’s office. With all of the exciting things happening in our classrooms, labs, and the community that surrounds us, we expect the tradition to continue. Faculty can apply for an FEO in any amount, and past awards have ranged from $4,000 to over $50,000.

The PHHP Office of Research encourages applications for the Faculty Enhancement Opportunity (FEO) awards. Faculty members must have a minimum of three years full-time service at UF to be eligible.

Applying to the FEO program is a chance to receive funding for creative and flexible faculty development activities like educational experiences, conferences, sabbaticals for creative work or intensive writing, and other activities that support a new direction for one’s scholarly development. Applications must be reviewed at the college level, and will only be considered for submission after review by the PHHP Office of Research.

Additional information on the FEO program can be found on the Office of the Provost website.

Applicants may also reach out to PHHP’s Office of Research for samples of successful FEO applications.
