Faculty Excellence and Advancement

ORCID
ORCID (Open Researcher and Contributor ID) is an open, non-profit, community-driven initiative to create a world where all who participate in research, scholarship, and innovation are uniquely identified and connected to their contributions across disciplines, borders, and time. ORCID provides a framework for trustworthy connections between researchers, their contributions, and their affiliations across the scholarly communication ecosystem by providing interrelated services.
R01 Boot Camp
The R01 Boot Camp is a 9-month team-science and mentorship-focused program helping faculty members receive R01 grants from the National Institutes of Health (NIH). Senior faculty with strong track records of NIH funding guide groups of mentees through the proposal development process, while the team structure encourages peer support and feedback.
UFIRST
UFIRST is the proposal and award management system of the University of Florida. UFIRST is mandatory for the entry and routing of proposal and agreements managed by DSP. UFIRST allows transparent tracking throughout the lifecycle of the award from proposal development to proposal submission to award negotiation, set up and management.
