Complete the following Forms and Trainings
- Complete the Compliance Form for UF Office of Research
- Complete the necessary training to have a research project at my.UFL.edu
- Login >>Main menu>>My Self Service>> Training and Development>> myTraining: Search and Register for DSR820, plus any for animal/human research
For Faculty Conducting Animal Research with a pending protocol
- General IACUC information available from the University of Florida Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee under “For Investigators.”(you will need to be connected through a VPN to access this remotely as well)
- Required training includes:
- Health Risk Assessment Form for EH & S Animal Contract Program
- AALAS Website Training “Enroll Now,” Access Code “ufiacuc” >> UF Researchers – IACUC Training Modules >> Compliance and IACUC Training >> Working with the IACUC course.
- Register for access (you will need VPN access if doing this remotely)
For Faculty Conducting Research Involving Human Participants with a Current Protocol
- Complete the required training for UF IRB including:
- HIPAA for Research Login >>Main menu>>My Self Service>> Training and Development>> myTraining, then search for PRV801 & Register for the course
- Local IRB Video Login >>Main menu>>My Self Service>> Training and Development>> myTraining, then search for IRB800 & Register for the course
- NIH Extramural Training
- Email a copy of the certificate with your UFID to UF IRB
- Register for My IRB
- Submit the proposal through My IRB for review
- If you are transferring a grant that is only in the data analysis phase, there may be a truncated review available for the protocol. Otherwise, the full protocol needs to be submitted for review.
